Rachel is one of our SPA Models this year. This is the first of a couple sessions we have planned. These are the more “traditional,” senior photos, but for the next session we are going to go “funky,” with America’s Next Top Model makeup and hair. (We were even thinking about a snake!) If you have a particular style of senior pictures you would like, we can certainly try to acheive that! Rip photos out of magazines or print them off the computer and bring some in. We love a challenge!
We had a week full of boys, which is unusual! Then next week we have all girl’s sessions. Kirby had a great smile and was very photogenic. Had a ton of great photographs in the end!
Michael is a cross country runner, who I think looks similar to Heath Ledger. We took photos all around town, but my favorite ended up being this black and white.
Kirby had his first session in the winter and came back to do a second session in the summer and brought his car. I think this turned out pretty cool. It kind of reminded me of the fast and the furious. We shot some “normal,” senior photos too!
Sarah has an awesome style and we wanted to show that in her photos. These flowers are actually in a ditch we drove by and they turned out to be the BEST photos!
We had a great time and I had a hard time choosing my favorites. This is one of Sarah’s indoor shots. We wanted to play up the colors as well as her face. We also added a little grunge texture in the background.
Ryan brought some soccer props along. We didn’t want to do the same old… sit on the floor surrounded by soccer equipment. This is kind of a “Don’t Mess With Me,” shot and the black and white makes it more dramatic.
Two totally different sides of Ryan, right? We have the “soccer stud,” shots and then in these, Ryan looks like a model! Ryan was awesome at posing.

Emily and I attend SPA (senior portrait artist) at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas this past week. We had a blast and, of course, we learned so much information. Get ready 2010 seniors….we are gearing up!
